How to use the Pay for Me Feature
This feature allows travelers to request payment from a third party (friends or family) to complete a booking.
Pay For Me Feature: Via Email
- On the payment page, click “Pay for me.”
- Enter the third party’s email address and click “Share checkout link via mail.”
- The third party will receive an email—ask them to open it and click “Complete payment.” They can then choose their preferred payment method.
Note: The traveler will also receive a reservation email in case they choose to complete the payment themselves.
- Once payment is successful, the passenger will be redirected to a “Paid” page and receive the trip ticket via email.
Pay For Me Feature: Via Whatsapp
- On the payment method page, click “Share checkout link via WhatsApp.”
- Select the payer’s WhatsApp contact and send the payment link.
- The payer can then choose either Paystack or Monnify to complete the payment.
Note: The traveler will also receive a reservation email in case they prefer to pay themselves.- Once payment is successful, the passenger will be redirected to a “Paid” page and will receive the trip ticket via email.

If I reserve, will my seat be available still without paying?

Can I update my ticket, change booked seat or date?
Yes, you can. You will need to cancel the original ticket, and a refund will be issued to your IntercityNG wallet. You can then use the wallet balance to rebook with the correct details.
